Job Summary
Provide post-operative patient care, manage drain management, and perform wound care on a Medical Surgical Unit. Utilize Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and SCDs while maintaining competency in dressing changes. Maintain a 12-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working three shifts per week with a maximum of 10 days off. Submit all time off requests at application and coordinate scheduling directly with the manager upon starting the assignment. This auto-offer position requires a clear response within 24 hours and mandates a driver's license, BLS certification, and a recent Charge/Lead reference. Candidates must live over 50 miles from the facility and hold a Virginia or compact license.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months
- 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months
- Virginia license or compact license
- Must be able to float to additional units and locations
- Must live >50 miles from facility
- No current placement at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Capital Division
- Driver's license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
