Job Summary
Provide night shift coverage on the Medical Surgical Unit for adult and geriatric patients with mixed medical surgical and wound care needs. Manage care for a patient population of 1 to 6 per nurse while maintaining Basic Life Support certification. Complete required pre-employment modules and upload certifications to expedite onboarding. Submit within 48 hours of signing and ensure references cover at least one full year of relevant specialty experience. This assignment requires an Oklahoma or compact license, 12 months of total experience including 3 months in the last year, and 3 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience. Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility and be able to float within scope.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 3 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- Oklahoma license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- No current placement at Program: Aya Program - Ardent Health
- References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
- Must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Registered license type
- Proof of identification
- Travel only (local not allowed)
- Must live >50 miles from facility
- Floating to additional units and locations
- Every other weekend
