Job Summary
Conduct night shift coverage on the Medical Surgical Unit for adult and geriatric patients, managing common diagnoses including COPD, pneumonia, and hip fractures. Administer IVs, Foley catheters, pain management, and eMAR documentation while providing acute care for altered mental status, falls, and UTIs. Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications and submit a Charge/Lead reference from the last two years. Requires Tennessee or compact license, ADN completion, and COVID vaccination. No call rotation with rotating weekends and 14 days maximum time off.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months
- 12 months of acute care experience
- ADN completion
- Tennessee license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- Experience with IVs
- Experience with Foley catheters
- Experience with pain management
- Experience with eMAR
- Driver's license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
