Job Summary
Conduct 12-hour day shifts on the Medical Surgical Unit with every other weekend and holiday coverage. Provide care to 1-5 patients, utilizing nurse aides for sitters where appropriate, and float to acute care or cardio units for patient holds. Maintain a Georgia license with 12 months of MSU experience, including 3 months of travel, and complete required pre-employment modules. Submit references from the same specialty and a charge/lead from the last 12 months. This assignment requires a 75-mile radius from the driver's license address and includes a 26-week contract starting August 2026.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years)
- 3 months of travel experience
- Georgia license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- 1 travel assignment
- Strict 75 mile radius from the address on the traveler's driver's license to the hospital
- Driver's license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- Registered license type
- GA license state
- Every other weekend
- Holidays as needed
- Float to all acute care and cardio to take care of medical, or EC for acute care patient holds
- 14 days maximum time off
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
