Job Summary
Conduct Medical Surgical Unit coverage on 12-hour night shifts, including floating to the lockdown unit and equal or lesser acuity units as requested. Maintain Michigan licensure and complete required pre-employment modules, including BLS and ACLS certifications. Submit all time off requests at application and provide one manager and one charge/lead reference. Receive an auto-offer without interview; respond within 24 hours to accept or decline. Work 13 weeks with a maximum of 14 days time off allowed.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- Michigan license
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- 1 Manager/Supervisor reference
- 1 Charge/Lead reference
Desired Qualifications
- 3 months of Epic experience
- BSN completion
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Base telemetry experience
