Job Summary
Conduct medical surgical patient care with a 1:6 ratio, managing overflow cases including orthopedic, urologic, and pulmonary conditions under remote ICU telemetry. Provide floating support across multiple medical surgical departments as needed. Maintain readiness for weekend night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with no call, requiring immediate availability if placed on standby. Hold an Oklahoma or compact license, BLS, ACLS, CPEN, and PALS certifications, and possess a valid driver's license. Submit to COVID vaccination requirements and complete pre-employment modules. This assignment includes 13 weeks of travel nursing work at a rate of $1890 per week.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- Oklahoma license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- 12 months gap between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO)
- 12 months gap between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO)
- Driver's license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- CPEN (Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
