Job Summary
Conduct night shift coverage on the Medical Surgical Unit, working 12-hour shifts three times weekly from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Maintain a Colorado or compact license and hold current BLS and ACLS certifications. Manage scheduling requests directly with the manager upon starting the assignment and submit all time off requests at application, adhering to a maximum of 10 days off. Submit a clear response to the offer within 24 hours to accept or decline. This travel-only assignment requires living more than 50 miles from the facility and involves floating to additional units if needed. Candidates must provide a Charge/Lead reference from the last 12 months and a driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months
- Colorado license or compact license
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
- Driver's license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
- Must be able to float to additional units and locations
- Must live >50 miles from facility
- No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Continental Division
- Must be able to submit clear Yes or No response to offers within 24hrs
Desired Qualifications
- 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred
- Worked with sci (spinal cord injury)
