Job Summary
Provide acute care nephrology and cardiology coverage for patients with end-stage renal disease, post-renal or heart transplant, chest pain, pacemaker placement, and autoimmune disorders. Manage care for post-cardiac cath, AICD placement, and connective tissue disorders on a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM day shift. This assignment includes no call, every other weekend, and every other holiday. Requires 12 months of experience with 3 months in medical surgical, a North Carolina or compact license, and BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 3 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- Diploma completion
- North Carolina license or compact license
- Nursing Diploma
- ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
- Proof of identification
