Job Summary
Conduct medical surgical unit care for 12-hour shifts, three times weekly, with a 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM schedule. Maintain a Mississippi or compact license and hold PALS and BLS certifications. Complete required pre-employment modules and submit all certifications to expedite onboarding. Provide at least 24 months of medical surgical experience, including 12 months of acute care, with 3 months of recent unit work. Submit a clear acceptance response within 24 hours to secure the auto-offer. This travel-only assignment requires a permanent address over 50 miles from the facility and includes a maximum of seven days off per cycle.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years)
- 12 months of acute care experience
- Mississippi license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- Driver's license
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- 7 days maximum time off
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
- Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from facility
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted
- Travel only, local not allowed
- No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Community Health Systems (CHS)
