Job Summary
Conduct Medical Surgical Unit care for 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 6:45 PM, rotating every other weekend with holidays included. Maintain a Florida or compact license and complete required onboarding assessments including Ascension Core Competencies and EKG exams. Hold at least 12 months of experience with 3 months in the last year, including 24 months in Medical Surgical, and possess BLS certification. Submit to a 13-week travel contract at $1780 per week with a maximum of five days off. Candidates must have a six-month gap from previous Ascension placements and hold a valid driver's license.

- Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80% or national benchmark, 2 attempts allowed
- Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, 2 attempts allowed
- Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles
- Candidates must have at least 6 months since employment separation to be considered for a travel position
- Every other weekend
- Any holiday that falls on a regularly scheduled shift
- 5 days maximum time off
- 2 Charge/Lead references required
Desired Qualifications
