Job Summary
Conduct medical surgical patient care including telemetry, wound vacs, NGTs, and common drips such as heparin, Lasix, and TPN. Provide oxygen support via nasal cannula up to 8L and CPAP at night while maintaining a 1:5 patient ratio across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Manage floating assignments to multiple units within Ohio, adhering to a 12-hour shift schedule, three shifts per week, and a maximum of 14 days off. Maintain required certifications including BLS, ACLS, CCRN, and PCCN, and submit to a dysrhythmia exam prior to onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- Experience with Epic
- Ohio license or compact license
