Job Summary
Conduct medical surgical nursing care on a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with alternating weekends, working a 1/6 nurse-to-patient ratio. Maintain 24 months of experience, including 12 months in acute care and 3 months with Cerner, while holding a Mississippi or compact license. This travel-only assignment requires a driver's license, COVID vaccination, and at least 12 months of uninterrupted unit-specific experience. No interviews are required for auto-offer status; all time off requests must be submitted at application.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years)
- 3 months of Cerner experience
- 12 months of acute care experience
- Mississippi license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- 12 months gap between Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Community Health Systems (CHS) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Community Health Systems (CHS)
- at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty
- Driver's license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
