Job Summary
Admit general medical and surgical patients awaiting surgery on a rapid-turnover admission unit. Manage care for up to six patients during 12-hour day shifts, working three shifts weekly with no call. Maintain a continuous work schedule with no gaps exceeding 60 days and a maximum of zero days off. Requires 24 months of medical surgical experience, including recent acute care and trauma level 1 exposure. Georgia licensure and BLS certification are mandatory. Pre-employment modules may be required for onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 3 months within the last 6 months
- 3 months of acute care experience within the last 6 months
- 3 months of Trauma Level 1 facility
- Georgia license or compact license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- No gaps greater than 60 days in work history
- 0 days maximum time off
- Local & travel allowed
