Job Summary
Care for mixed medical-surgical patients in a dedicated education unit where travelers do not perform education duties. Maintain 12-hour day shifts across three weekly assignments with no call rotation and zero requested time off. Requires 24 months of medical-surgical experience including 24 months at a Level 1 trauma facility, plus 12 months total with 3 months in the last year and 3 months of acute care in the last six months. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. Submit to the program with a Georgia or compact license; no current placement at Grady Memorial is permitted.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 3 months within the last 6 months
- 3 months of acute care experience within the last 6 months
- 24 months of Trauma Level 1 facility experience
- Georgia license or compact license
- 2 years experience
- level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Local & travel allowed
- No current placement allowed at Program: HWL Program - Grady Memorial
- No call
- No requested time off
