Job Summary
Conduct night shifts on the Medical Surgical Unit with a 12-hour schedule, working three shifts per week. Maintain continuous employment in this specialty for the past 24 months with no breaks exceeding 30 consecutive days. Hold a valid Georgia or compact license, a driver's license, and current BLS and NIHSS certifications. Submit only for travel assignments requiring residence more than 50 miles from the facility, with COVID vaccination documentation required after submission. No on-call rotation applies; schedule varies with expected availability for one minor holiday out of three designated dates.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 24 months
- Georgia license or compact license
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Live >50 miles from facility
- COVID vaccination
- 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HWL Program - Northside Hospital
- No current placement allowed at Program: HWL Program - Northside Hospital
- Must have been continuously working in this specialty for the past 24 months
- No breaks in employment over 30 consecutive days
- Min of 2 years of recent experience within specialty
- Driver's license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
