Job Summary
Conduct night shift care on a high-acuity surgery/trauma floor treating surgical, gunshot, quadriplegic, and paraplegic patients. Manage acute care and trauma Level 1 facility duties with support from nursing techs, phlebotomists, and a unit secretary. Maintain 12-month experience with 24 months in medical surgical units and 3 months in acute care within the last 6 months. Requires Georgia or compact license, Epic proficiency, ACLS, and BLS certifications. No call schedule with 12-hour shifts, three per week, and zero days maximum time off. Contract spans 13 weeks starting September 2026.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 3 months within the last 6 months
- Experience with Epic
- 3 months of acute care experience within the last 6 months
- 3 months of Trauma Level 1 facility
- Georgia license or compact license
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
