Job Summary
Conduct 12-hour day shifts in a Medical Surgical Unit with mixed Med/Surg and Covid+ patients. Float to additional med/surg units as needed. Maintain a Texas or compact license and complete required pre-employment modules. Submit all time off requests at application and coordinate scheduling with the manager upon arrival. This auto-offer position requires a clear response within 24 hours and includes a maximum of 10 days time off. Candidates must live over 50 miles from the facility and hold a driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months
- 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months
- Texas license or compact license
- Must be able to float to additional units and locations
- Must live >50 miles from facility
- No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Gulf Coast Division
- Acute med/surg experience 1+ years within the last year
- Rotating weekends as needed for travel RNs
- Float to med/surg units
- Driver's license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
Desired Qualifications
- 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred
- Acute med/surg experience 2+ years within the last year
- Would prefer RNs with ortho or neuro-surgery background
