Job Summary
Conduct 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a Medical Surgical Unit with a 3-shift weekly schedule. Maintain 24 months of nursing experience, including 12 months in Medical Surgical and 9 months in acute care within the last year. Float to additional units or locations as needed while ensuring a Texas or compact license is current. Submit all time off requests at application and coordinate scheduling directly with the manager upon starting the assignment. Provide a Charge/Lead reference from the last 12 months and hold a valid driver's license. This travel-only role requires living more than 50 miles from the facility and excludes candidates currently placed with HealthTrust Program - HCA - North TX Division.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience
- 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- 9 months within the last 12 months
- 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months
- Texas license or compact license
- Driver's license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Registered license type
- Texas license state
- 10 days maximum time off
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
- Clear Yes or No response from the nurse within 24hrs
- Travel only
- Live >50 miles from facility
- No current placement at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North TX Division
