Job Summary
Conduct night shift coverage on the Medical Surgical Unit, rotating through additional units and locations as needed. Maintain a 12-hour shift schedule with three shifts weekly, adhering to a 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM rotation. Submit all time off requests at application and coordinate scheduling directly with the manager upon starting the assignment. Provide a Charge/Lead reference from the last 12 months and hold a valid Texas or compact license. BLS certification is required; pre-employment modules may be mandatory. This travel-only role requires living more than 50 miles from the facility and excludes candidates currently placed with the HealthTrust Program.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months
- 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months
- Texas license or compact license
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility
- No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - San Antonio Division
- Driver's license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
