Job Summary
Provide direct patient care on an adult medical oncology telemetry unit, managing patients with bone marrow transplants, CAR-T, and solid tumor malignancies. Operate Alaris pumps and coordinate chemotherapy administration protocols, though direct administration is not required for agency staff. Maintain 24 months of total experience with 10 months specifically in Medical Surgical or Telemetry, including a mandatory oncology background. Hold a valid Maryland license, BLS certification, and ONS credential. Complete 12 hours per shift for three shifts weekly, with a maximum of 14 days off allowed. Submit charge/lead references and required documentation to expedite onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience
- 3 months of travel experience
- Maryland license or compact license
- Oncology background
- 2 years current nursing experience
- 1-2 travel assignments
- 14 days maximum time off
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
- Proof of identification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ONS (Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider)
