Job Summary
Travel Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit on a night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with 12-hour shifts, 4 shifts/week, and flexible contract duration (expected 13 weeks). Requires 24 months of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience with 12 months in last year, 24 months total MS/Telemetry experience, Cerner experience, and Wisconsin or compact license. Roles include floating to additional units/locations and local as well as travel options; nurse-patient ratios are provided for various care settings, and the unit handles neuro/trauma patients with vents, trachs, and related therapies. Certifications required include NIH Stroke Scale and BLS. Must disclose previous employment details and provide references; driver’s license is required for submission. Unit involves significant nursing responsibilities including IV drips and monitoring, with self-scheduling and travel between facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission)
- 2 years MS, PCU, ICU experience
- travel experience preferred
- Cerner experience
- lifting or floating to additional units and locations
- 6 months gap between Marshfield Clinic Health System programs and current placement
- driver’s license required
