Job Summary
Conduct night shift care for adult and geriatric patients, managing insulin administration, oral suctioning, colostomy/ileostomy care, and bowel obstruction cases. Perform early mobilization and CHG baths while floating to multiple medical surgical units and locations including Milwaukie, Newberg, and Seaside. Maintain Oregon licensure with no background hits, complete onboarding labs within 48 hours, and provide BLS certification. Submit clear response to auto-offer within 24 hours. No call rotation with every other weekend schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience
- Travel experience
- Experience with Epic
- Oregon license
- COVID vaccination
- 6 months gap between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services
- No current placement at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services
- Responsiveness and willingness to go to a lab to complete health orders within 72 hours of signing
- References covering at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
- Ability to complete labs within 48 hours of signing
- Early mobilization and CHG bath
- No hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past
- RTO must be listed at time of submission
- Not currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network
- Experience with insulin administration
- Experience with oral suctioning
- Experience with colostomy/ileostomy management/care
- Experience with bowel obstruction patients
- Float to several med surg units
- Ability to float to other units and facilities including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent
- 5 days maximum time off
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
