Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2420 per week.

Job Summary
Conduct night shifts on a medical surgical/telemetry unit with a nurse-patient ratio of 1:5 to 6, managing ortho trauma, vascular, urology, neuro-spine, and OBGYN oncology patients. Administer prescribed drips including heparin, nitro, bivalirudin, Cardizem, and insulin following nomograms, while telemetry technicians monitor patient strips. Float to additional adult medical/surgical units as required. Work every other weekend and holiday shifts with no call, adhering to a 12-hour shift schedule. Maintain a Wisconsin license and BLS certification. No self-scheduling; block scheduling applies.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years)
- 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years)
- Experience with Cerner
- Wisconsin license or compact license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Driver's license
- Must take a full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location
- Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check
- Must disclose any previous Marshfield employment; if previously worked for Marshfield, the end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission
- Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained
- Skills checklist cannot contain any N/As; all lines must have a numerical rating
- No self-scheduling; block scheduling to the best of our ability, dependent on staffing
- Float required to other adult medical/surgical nursing units
- At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
