Job Summary
Conduct Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit duties with 24 months of relevant experience, including 3 months in the last 12 months. Manage ventilator care and perform charge nurse responsibilities as assigned. Float to multiple units while maintaining a New York license and completing mandatory COVID vaccination and N95 fit testing. Work night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) every other weekend with no on-call rotation, adhering to a 12-hour shift schedule. Submit to the RightSourcing Program at Mount Sinai with all required certifications, including BLS and ACLS.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience
- 12 months of travel experience
- New York license
- COVID vaccination
- Willingness to shave to pass the mandatory N95 fit test
- 2 years tele & critical care experience
- Ventilator management
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- 2 Charge/Lead references from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification
Desired Qualifications
- 3 months of Epic experience
- BSN completion
- Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing
- Associate degree in nursing with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN Program
