Job Summary
Conduct Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit care with 24 months of relevant experience, including 3 months within the last year. Perform duties requiring Cerner proficiency and float across multiple units while maintaining a District of Columbia license. Maintain ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications to support patient safety during 12-hour day shifts. Work a schedule of three shifts per week with a maximum of 14 days time off. This travel-only assignment requires living more than 50 miles from the facility and includes a COVID vaccination requirement. Submit three charge or lead references and complete any required pre-employment modules to expedite onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience
- Experience with Cerner
- District of Columbia license
- COVID vaccination
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- Basic Life Support
- NIH Stroke Scale
- 2 Charge/Lead references
- Proof of identification
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted
