Medical Surgical Technician (PRN) Emergency Services

Maintain a professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers. Initiate and maintain hygiene and cleanliness of patients, the patient environment, and the unit. Perform or assist with nutritional and hydration interventions while collecting and recording patient-related data through direct care tasks. Identify and communicate appropriate patient data to the interdisciplinary team, utilizing health and safety protocols to protect both patients and staff. Perform general transportation and courier duties as directed, conduct standard room checks including stocking supplies and assessing equipment function, and ensure proper storage and safety of medications. Recognize signs of aging in the patient population served and promote an environment of comfort and safety. Respect confidentiality of patient records and facility operations.
