Medical Surgical (RN) (PRN)

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within post-operative settings, focusing on pre-op needs and post-op recovery through discharge. Promote patient and family-centered care by educating individuals on illness management, home care needs, and medication administration. Develop and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum. Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient values and cultural preferences. Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, maintaining a constant state of alertness as a safety-sensitive position.
