Medical Surgical (RN) (PRN)

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within standards of nursing care for pre-op and post-op inpatients. Promote patient and family-centered care by educating families on illness management, home care needs, and medication administration. Develop, implement, and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum. Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while addressing patient preferences and cultural values. Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in professional development. This safety-sensitive position requires a constant state of alertness.
