Medical Surgical RN

Collect patient data based on diagnosis, age, or developmental age, then analyze it to plan and prioritize individualized care using nursing diagnoses. Implement appropriate standards, teach patients and families about discharge needs, and set outcome goals in coordination with other disciplines. Ensure patient participation in the care plan while addressing age-specific and cultural needs, then organize care within allotted time frames. Coordinate discharge steps or refer appropriately to address timely discharge needs. This role supports holistic care from admission to discharge at a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center serving over 80,000 patients annually.
