Job Summary
Deliver safe care to spinal cord injured patients on the Spinal Cord Injury Unit; perform skin assessments and complex wound dressing changes; communicate effectively with people of varied educational backgrounds and ethnicities; collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team; participate in unit/program quality improvement and customer service initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse academic program (BSN or ADN)
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Two years of Med Surg experience. Ventilator experience preferred
- No sponsorship available
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
