Job Summary
Manage patient care for a 14-bed Critical Care Step Down Unit treating populations with Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis. Perform EKG interpretation, manage central line care, and operate Rescue Bi-pap, High Flow Oxygen, Trach/Vents. Assist with bedside procedures including endoscopies and bronchoscopies while working alongside PCNAs, Nurse Interns, and providers. Requires current Ohio RN licensure, AHA BLS, and ACLS certifications, with one year of relevant experience for PRN roles. Schedule includes 72 bi-weekly hours on rotating 7a-7p/7p-7a shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation)
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
- Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
- 1 year of relevant RN experience
- all required certifications upon hire
