Job Summary
Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical units at Yale New Haven Hospital (Saint Raphael Campus) with responsibilities including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; supervision of non-RN staff; preceptor to new staff; potential to act as Charge Nurse. Clinical focus includes Neuro assessment, airway management including tracheostomy care, care of patients with Halo braces and ventilated patients, and coordination of education for patients and families. Education: BSN preferred; nursing license in CT; proficiency with electronic records. Prioritizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and adherence to institutional policies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing
- BSN Preferred
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
