Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care on a medical-surgical unit under the supervision of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care; supervise non-RN personnel; act as Charge Nurse when required; serve as a preceptor for new staff; demonstrate expertise in neuro assessment, neuro procedures, airway management, and care of patients with tracheostomies and ventilators; contribute to education and care planning for oncology patients within Smilow Ambulatory Multispecialty Department; location in Tuscaloosa, AL with department specialties in breast, gynecologic, and neuro surgery services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing
- BSN Preferred
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
