Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN)

Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN) available at Yale New Haven Hospital, Saint Raphael Campus. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care on Med-Surg units with telemetry, serving as a charge nurse and preceptor, supervising non-RN staff, and coordinating care across the continuum. Expertise in neuro care, airway management (including tracheostomy and suctioning), endotracheal care, and ventilator-support patients; demonstrates knowledge of Neuro procedures and the Tia teaching program; maintains patient-centered care and supports unit performance expectations.
