Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN)

Registered Nurse on Medical-Surgical units with telemetry responsibilities across Adult Acute Care Medicine. Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and communicating plans of care, implementing care in collaboration with the healthcare team, evaluating outcomes, and coordinating education for patients and families. Roles include potential preceptorship and charge nurse duties. Demonstrates neuro-focused skills such as neuro assessment, airway management, suctioning for neuro patients, ventilator care, and care of tracheostomy patients. Participates in ongoing education and compliance with unit policies; supports patient-centered, compassionate care and aligns with hospital mission and values.
