Job Summary
Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN) at Yale New Haven Hospital, Saint Raphael Campus, supporting adult acute care units with telemetry and specialized neuro-focused care. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and supervising patient care; may act as Charge Nurse and Preceptor; provides education to patients and families; demonstrates competency in neuro assessments, airway management, tracheostomy suctioning, and care of ventilated patients; collaborates with healthcare team to develop and revise plans of care and ensure safe discharge; BSN preferred with CT RN licensure and BLS certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
