Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Medical-Surgical/Neuro-Oncology unit providing continuous patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care; supervises non-RN personnel; serves as charge nurse and participates in education, discharge planning, and coordination of care. Requires BSN preferred, CT RN license, and BLS; oncology and neuro-surgery experience emphasized, including care for neuro patients, tracheostomy, halo brace, and related procedures. Multidisciplinary oncology-focused department with emphasis on cancer treatment and solid tumor care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing; BSN Preferred
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
- Oncology nursing experience required
- Practice RN positions available

- Neuro Patient care competencies
- Halo brace care capabilities
- Endotracheal/tracheostomy care competencies
- Pharyngeal suctioning per policy
