Job Summary
Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN) provides comprehensive nursing care on a Neuro/Oncology-focused unit, under the supervision of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator. Responsibilities include assessing and planning patient care, implementing and evaluating care plans, supervising non-RN staff, serving as Charge Nurse or Preceptor, and supporting education after assessment of learning needs. Demonstrates competency in neuro care, airway management, suctioning (pharyngeal, endotracheal, tracheostomy), care for ventilated and halo-braced patients, and involvement in oncology treatment pathways (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies) within Smilow Ambulatory Multispecialty Department. Requires BSN-preferred education, valid CT RN license, BLS, and proficiency with electronic medical records; oncology experience is specifically noted as required. Location: Marion, OH.

- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
