Job Summary
Assess, Plan, Implement, and Evaluate individualized patient care on an acute care unit (Medical-Surgical with Telemetry, Neuro-focused) under RN supervision; provide supervision of non-RN personnel, serve as Charge Nurse, and function as a Preceptor to new staff. Demonstrate competency in neuro assessment and specialized procedures (airway management, suctioning for tracheostomy/ventilator patients, Halo brace care, and endotracheal/tracheostomy care). Develop and document plans of care, coordinate education for patients and families, and ensure readiness for discharge. BSN preferred; CT RN license and BLS required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing; BSN Preferred
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
