Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN)

Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical unit with oncology and neuro specialty focus. Oversees patient care on a nursing unit, assesses and documents Plan of Care, coordinates with healthcare team, and provides supervision of non-RN personnel. Serves as Charge Nurse and Preceptor to new staff; collaborates with team to evaluate patient responses and readiness for discharge; demonstrates competency in neuro patient care, airway management, care of trached patients, and support of the Tia Teaching program. Requires BSN preferred, CT RN license, and BLS. Location in Stratford, Texas; role emphasizes oncology nursing excellence and multidisciplinary cancer care within Smilow Ambulatory Multispecialty Department, with opportunities across several specialties including Breast Clinic, Women’s Services, and Neuro Surgery.
