Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN)

Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN) position at Yale New Haven Hospital, Saint Raphael Campus, in Webster, TX. Responsibilities include assessing patients’ physical and psychosocial conditions, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, coordinating with the care team, educating patients and families, acting as preceptor and charge nurse, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple Acute Care Medicine units (including telemetry and neuro-focused care). Requires BSN preferred, CT RN license, and BLS. Experience with neuro assessment, airway management, ventilated patients, and related procedures referenced in the role. Provides leadership and contributes to unit operations and performance improvement as part of the nursing team.
