Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg RN) at Yale New Haven Hospital, Saint Raphael Campus. Responsibilities include assessing patients, planning and implementing individualized care plans, coordinating with the healthcare team, supervising non-RN staff, serving as charge nurse or preceptor, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes. Focus areas include Neuro/Telemetry care, airway management, tracheostomy and ventilator support, neuro assessments, and patient/ family education. Qualifications require an RN license (CT) with BSN preferred, and BLS. Proficient use of electronic health records.
