Job Summary
Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical/Neuro oncology-focused care on a hospital unit. Performs patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, and supervises non-RN staff. When acting as Charge Nurse, delegates unit activities and may supervise across units. Provides patient and family education, develops and documents plans of care, and coordinates with the healthcare team. Requires BSN preferred and CT RN license; BLS required; oncology nursing experience preferred; roles include precepting new staff and supporting performance and care standards within the Smilow Ambulatory Multispecialty Department.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN Preferred
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
