Job Summary
Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN) with oncology focus in Smilow Ambulatory Multispecialty Department. Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and coordinating plans of care, supervising non-RN personnel, serving as Charge Nurse, and precepting new staff. Requires BSN preferred, CT RN license, and BLS. Oncology experience and neuro care competencies emphasized, with involvement in education, discharge planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cancer care across breast, gynecologic, and neuro-oncology services; opportunity to work across solid tumor cancer treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing
- BSN preferred
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
- Proficient In Use Of Computer Software To Include Electronic Patient Records
