Job Summary
Travel Registered Nurse needed to staff Medical-Surgical Orthopedic Unit on a 13-week contract. Responsibilities include floating to multiple units, covering day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM), and delivering patient care in a medical-surgical/ortho setting. Requires Oklahoma or compact license, BLS, and driving capability with a driver’s license. COVID vaccination is required after submission. Epic experience is preferred. Facility holidays and 12-hour shifts are noted; expected length is 13 weeks with 3 shifts per week and 5 days maximum time off. Local & travel allowed with Moore, OK as the location; nurse will work in a travel capacity and may rotate to multiple units as directed by the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Oklahoma license or compact license (required for submission)
- 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience
- 3 months of Epic experience is preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Driver’s license required
- COVID vaccination required after submission
- 12 months gap rules between HealthTrust Mercy MO programs (as stated)
- Pre-employment modules may be required
- Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Floating to multiple units
- Local & travel allowed (local within 50 miles)
