Job Summary
Conduct Medical Surgical care on the Orthopedic Unit at OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center, a Level 1 Trauma Center. Manage patient care with a focus on Trauma Level 1 cases and be prepared to float to additional units and locations as needed. Maintain a 12-hour night shift schedule with three shifts per week, including up to 14 days of time off. Hold an Oklahoma or compact license, an ADN, and BLS certification. Submit only if living more than 50 miles from the facility and meeting specific program gap requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience
- 3 months of travel experience
- 3 months of Trauma Level 1 facility experience
- ADN completion
- Oklahoma license or compact license
- 6 months gap between for Travel at Program: RightSourcing Program - OU Health
- no current placement at Program: RightSourcing Program - OU Health
- SD and MS experience
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- 2 Charge/Lead references
- Proof of identification
Desired Qualifications
- BSN degree (if highest level of education)
- Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program
