Job Summary
Manage orthopedic and medical-surgical patients, including wound care, mobility support, medication management, and care transition education. Operate ortho traction devices, wound vacs, drains, and urological pouches. Requires 12 months of orthopedic experience, 12 months medical-surgical experience, and Trauma Level 1 experience within the last 12 months. Must hold an Illinois license, complete ASN, and possess BLS certification. Float between Carle Health Methodist, Pekin, and Proctor hospitals. Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period. Auto-offer position with no interview; submit "Yes" or "No" within 24 hours.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience
- Experience with Epic
- Trauma Level 1 experience within the last 12 months
- ASN completion
- Illinois license
- BSN
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Driver's license
- 2 Charge/Lead references from within the last 2 years
- Clear Yes or No response to offer within 24hrs
- 7 days maximum time off
- Maximum consecutive days off: 3
