Job Summary
Conduct post-op orthopedic, spine surgical, and podiatry patient care on a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift, utilizing Baxter IV pumps and Medfusion pumps. Manage pediatric patients and provide acute care within a 13-week, 12-hour shift assignment requiring a Virginia or compact license. Maintain a driver's license and submit all time off requests through the manager upon starting the assignment. This role involves an auto-offer process with a 24-hour response deadline and requires a Charge/Lead reference from the last 12 months.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months
- 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months
- Virginia license or compact license
- Must be able to float to additional units and locations
- Must live >50 miles from facility
- No current placement at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Capital Division
- Driver's license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
