Job Summary
Conduct medical surgical and orthopedic unit care with 24 months of relevant experience, floating between units as needed. Provide night shift coverage from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working three 12-hour shifts weekly with weekend rotations every three weeks and holiday coverage. Maintain Indiana or compact licensure, hold a driver's license, and complete required onboarding exams including EKG, pharmacology, and core competencies. Submit BLS certification and charge/lead references. Candidates must have a six-month separation from Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC to qualify for travel rates.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience
- Indiana license or compact license

- Weekend rotation every 3 weeks

- 5 days maximum time off
- Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles
- Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position
- In order to receive travel rate, clinician's claimed residence must match address on driver's license
- Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations
