Job Summary
Provide 12-hour day shifts in a medical surgical orthopedic unit, managing post-op knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, trauma patients, and neuro overflow. Utilize traction, fixators, and cooling equipment while maintaining telemetry standards. This role requires 24 months of total experience with 12 months in orthopedic medical surgical, including 9 months in the last 12 months. Candidates must hold a Missouri or compact license, possess a driver's license, and complete pre-employment modules. Offers are auto-generated with no interview; responses are due within 24 hours. Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months
- 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months
- Missouri license or compact license
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility
- No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - MidAmerica Division
- Pre-employment modules
- 3 weekend shifts per schedule period
- Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week
- Contract labor is first to float to other MedSurg level of care units, including General MS, Nephrology, and Neuro/Trauma
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
